As our team left the school grounds, the team felt satisfied with our success in providing every child and every staff member with medical care, but we still had an overwhelming sense of sadness. Being able to truly witness the living conditions shone a light on what is still missing in this school.

We discovered that the school's showers consisted solely of water from a well and plastic buckets. Because the water from the well takes too long to heat, almost all the children do not take showers throughout the winter months. These unsanitary habits can leave them susceptible to skin disease as well as other internal infections, as children often do not wash their hands before food intake.

Through the generous donations of our supporters, our mission is to build the children of Wo Sai Xiang school proper showers with heated water that runs year-round.
