In 2017, we had more success in fundraising and continue to receive some Silicon Valley Corporate matching fundings. So, we expanded our charity reach to 2 boarding schools in the same Dari township. They are Wosaixiang boarding school and Shilonggongdian (狮龙宫殿) boarding school. We also received great support from the largest physical exam institution in China (美年大健康）。
The professional team of doctors and nurses traveled through the 12 hours mountain roads with us to reach the kids. From the physical exam, we are very happy to see that no new cases of hydatidosis diseases. The few kids that was diagnosed with the diseases received effective treatment and have fully recovered. In the new location of Shilonggongdian boarding school, doctors identified 2 new cases of hydatidosis diseases. Since the discovery was at early stage, we are hopeful that these kids will recover in full.
We are also very excited to see that Wosaixiang boarding school has received new bunk beds, new quilts, and a new show room with hot water supply. These were all made possible through charity donations like us, plus local government supports.
