It started as merely a conversation over a pancake breakfast. A simple desire to make a difference in a child's life.
Some are born, serenaded with baby shower gifts, food on the table, loving arms to hold them, and a healthy environment to prosper and learn. Others are less fortunate, given only enough to survive: shelter, threadbare hand-me-downs, and one or two meals a day.
We want every child to experience the first.
